This Samarit lateral transfer board with it’s integral nylon cloth enables the care givers to gently and easily transfer a patient between two surfaces. Its strong design means it will easily bridge a gap of 150mm. The Nylon cloth is strong, robust, tear-resistant, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal for infection control and flame retardant. If frequent use is required, disposable covers and a dispenser are available to complete the range.

Do you regularly transfer patients between narrow surfaces, i.e. Trolley to Trolley or Trolley to Table. If so you will love our rollboard.

At only 40cm wide and 126cm long this rollbord weighs only 1.5kg and is suitable for all acute areas involved in narrow transfers - provided there is someone to support feet and ankles.

How does it work?

Acting like a tank track the board allows you to gently push your patient across a gap between two surfaces very easily. Your staff will find it very easy to use and patients will love it too.

Extremely hard-wearing, it is suitable for excessive use bridges most gaps of up to 200mm. The nylon cloth that rolls around the central core is strong, robust and tear-resistant as well as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, flame retardant and disposable. Disposable covers are also available.
