Rollbord Ecolite 180 Case Study:

New from Samarit, these are economy versions of the fantastic Rollbord range - Ecolite.

Acting like a tank track this product allows you to gently push your patient across a gap between two surfaces very easily. Your staff will find it very easy to use and patients will love it too.

These economy models are not as hard wearing as the Hi-TEC or Professional Rollbord ranges (which are for excessive use/very busy wards and departments) but are designed for medium use. Available in 3 sizes, two are foldable so that they can be easily carried and stored.

At 1800mm long it is longer than most lateral transfer boards and its width of 500mm means that it bridges most gaps of up to 200mm. The nylon cloth that rolls around the central core is strong, robust and tear-resistant as well as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, flame retardant and disposable. Disposable covers are also available.
