A Slide Sheet For Every Requirement
Slide sheets come in many different shapes and sizes, and Hospital Direct is proud to provide the largest self-manufactured slide sheet/glide sheet range in the world. Simply put, both the term ‘Slide Sheets’ and ‘Glide Sheets‘ refer to the same product type, and can be purchased in either Disposable or Washable versions.
Quiet Glide Sheets For Patient Comfort
Washable Slide Sheets are generally used in the Homecare or Community sectors, whilst disposable Glide Sheets are predominantly used throughout the Hospital market as these are for single patient use. You’ll also notice that some are available in Tubular (operates like a tank track to move a person up and down the bed), whilst others are flat sheets. Flat sheets still require two layers – one on top of the other, and can come with handles or without handles.
