In-Bed Systems / In-Bed repositioning

The TECHNE-CARE™ in bed system uses light weight, highly advanced textiles, to provide a comfortable lying surface for patients whilst also allowing carers to easily re-position the people needing in-bed care.

Designed for the demands of the modern medical environment. Technical fabric is very low friction, highly robust, will withstand high laundry temperatures, is fluid and microbe resistant and will not attract dust or particles. It also has properties that make it more resistant to bacteria than conventional fabrics.

Comprising of a mattress cover that fits on top of the mattress (static or air flow) and 2 top sheets, this system comprises enough for the care of one patient. The mattress cover remains in place at all times, whilst the top bed sheets can be laundered alternately.
With the bed sheet working with the slippy mattress cover below, carers are easily able to move patients / service users up/ down and turn laterally, whilst also being able to secure their position in sitting. They can also be used to insert slings.

The ease of movement ensures that skin integrity is not compromised and manual handling is easy too plus the incidences of musculoskeletal injuries are reduced.
