The Torch is an essential infection prevention product that allows infection teams to instantly identify microscopic bacteria on any surface.

Even after a deep clean, some areas may still harbour biological traces of bacteria, especially surfaces that can’t be wiped down. The Torch Pack provides infection control teams in hospitals, nursing homes and infection prevention organisations with everything they need to check for infection sources and/or inadequate cleaning. Infection control staff can wear the specialist goggles and use the UV forensic torch to check for biological traces of dirt that cannot be seen with the naked eye. The result?

The revolutionary LED UV forensic torch uses the latest LED technology to provide a laser-like beam without the health and safety worries associated with laser light. The torch illuminates bacterial traces on all surfaces, whether in dark, bright or light-polluted areas, highlighting areas of concern with forensic accuracy. Once problem areas have been re-cleaned, you can use the forensic torch again to check results.

Additionally, you can place the camera filter lens (included in the pack) over a camera lens or a phone camera to use another device in your infection control process. This way, you can record results before and after cleaning.

Goggles

Camera Filter Lens

Each Deluxe Pack includes one camera filter lens, which you can place over a camera lens or phone camera lens to record bacterial traces that the torch highlights. This tool is key to cleaning protocols in healthcare environments and is invaluable when you want to record infection risk findings, including before and after shots.

Black Carry Case

The black carry case is a useful protective holdall for your Torch, extra batteries, charger, lens and torch. Your infection control equipment can access all equipment in one easily transportable container.

Rechargeable Batteries

The Torch’s rechargeable batteries offer 90 minutes of continuous use. Each pack comes with spare lithium batteries so that you can keep working to control infection.

Battery Charger

The battery charger allows you to recharge the lithium batteries included in each pack. The charger holds two batteries, has a voltage of 110v–240v and is complete with plugs and leads, including a USB connector.
