The Morphecover is a full-length mattress overlay designed to fit securely on top of any standard hospital bed. It features a soft pressure-relieving topper with two independently inflatable air chambers that gently reposition patients at regular intervals, typically every two hours. Using compressed air technology, the Morphecover supports safe and effective patient repositioning while significantly reducing the physical demands placed on healthcare staff.

Regular repositioning is recognised as best practice in the prevention of complications associated with prolonged bed rest in hospital settings. Clinical evidence shows that repositioning immobile patients every two hours can help support skin integrity, cardiovascular function, musculoskeletal health and oxygenation. However, manual repositioning is physically demanding and can present ergonomic challenges for nursing teams.
