Breast Plate Positioning / x-ray positioning
The RT Positioner has been developed with practitioners and allows radiotherapists to position their patients far more precisely than has been possible until now. The RT Positioner sits behind a patient’s breast or pelvic area, and allows staff to use the integrated handles to re-position patients and line up precisely with the lasers for X-Ray.
Positioning patients for laser precision has always been difficult and achieving that specific position can be uncomfortable and awkward for the patient and extremely hard, tiring and heavy work for staff. It can result in potential skin damage to patients and injury risk to staff. However, by placing the RT Positioner? under the patient (breast or pelvic areas), staff can use the provided handles to much more easily re-position their patients to line up precisely with the lasers.
- No need to manually handle patients
- Reduced risk of tissue damage
- Less stress and discomfort for the patient;
- Less strain and risk of injury to the staff.
